"I appreciate the sentiment, though I do not frighten easily." Which the night's events could attest to. If Helena frightened easily, she would not have even attempted to find Dorian in the bad part of the city in the first place. Nor would she have stayed with Dorian after finding out what he was. Which would have resulted in her being killed, no doubt.

"If it is too much strain at the present moment, do not trouble yourself. I can manage. Sleep will come eventually, even if it will not stay for long." Helena was still new to having nightmares to the extent she currently was, but she always kept a stiff upper lip despite everything. It was her innate stubborn English upbringing.
