She was busy trying to keep the flames away from the doorway, so she wasn't precisely paying close attention to what Dorian was doing. She heard the sound of his boot crushing something. The trunk being tossed through the door startled her as she hadn't been expecting that.

When Dorian scooped her up into his arms, a slight noise of surprise came from her, and she dropped the sheets as he bolted through the door. At his whisper, she complied, letting her body go limp and closing her eyes as her head fell back. However, she had her gun clutched in her hand and had it resting across her body so it wouldn't fall from her grasp.

Helena wasn't certain where he was taking her, nor did she even know what lay ahead for her. She wasn't exactly thinking very far ahead, nor had she really processed the fact he was a vampire. She had no context as to what her even knowing that meant. But at the current moment, she wasn't thinking about it, she didn't have the time to. All she could think about was everything happening in the current moment. What came next was something she'd think about whenever Dorian stopped and they had time to talk.
