Vengeance was something she could hold onto, something that would allow her to focus. It was almost frightening how clearly she was able to think and focus once her hate and anger came to the forefront. Helena was certain Dorian must be feeling the same thing, finally able to exact his vengeance for his family and what Phoebe had done to him.
Hearing Phoebe's shriek was like music to her ears. Though Helena didn't have much time to enjoy it as the two vampires moved at each other. Things happened quicker than she could keep up with, though she did see Phoebe's head fly off, watched it as it rolled and came to a stop on the floor. Helena also blinked when Dorian took the blanket from her and used it to put out the flame on Phoebe's body. She watched him as he began to cut into Phoebe's body, and she didn't exactly care at the moment. It was enough to make someone's stomach turn, but Helena's didn't.
Though the spreading fire caught her eye. She looked around for something she could potentially use to stop the fire from spreading to engulf their only exit. Helena let out a cough as the smoke was building.
"Hurry, the flames are closing in," she warned and coughed again. Thinking quickly, she grabbed the sheets off of the bed and attempted to smother some of the flames heading for the doorway. If she could at least keep some of them at bay, it could keep the exit open long enough for Dorian to do whatever it was he was doing. She wasn't about to question him when she wanted it certain that Phoebe was dead.
