feellikeibelong: (038 - Slight irritation)

With the knowledge of Dorian's vices, she was checking any bar she could come across. All of them were a bust thus far. She'd also left a couple men with broken noses in her wake. She wasn't going to be man-handled by anyone, especially not on the day she buried her daughter. She was very tightly wound, and anyone who pushed her got a meeting with her fist.

She came to another seedy bar and walked inside. It didn't take long for her to spot Dorian sitting at the table gambling. A mix of emotions surged within her, though she chose to focus on the anger instead of the grief and pain she was in. A couple other men whistled at her, but she ignored them, heading straight for Dorian. When she got to him, she grabbed his shoulder and turned him enough so he looked at her and she punched him.

"Where have you been?! I have been looking everywhere for you the past few days." This was a complete change from the woman he had come to know. And when he would look her in the eye, he would know something was wrong because there was a deadness to her gaze that had never been there before. There was emotion churning within her dark eyes that she was keeping beneath the surface. But there was definitely something off about her. She was also dressed in a solid black dress, a color she never wore, at least not with a secondary color mixed in as well.
